Following the resounding success of “200 Best Ad Photographers worldwide,” Lürzer's Archive is now presenting the "200 Best Illustrators worldwide" In our latest ARCHIVE Special, we are showcasing the work of 200 of the world's best illustrators in a volume numbering 400 pages. The price of this special issue is just $23.50. Each illustrator featured was nominated by top art directors worldwide, had been featured in the forerunner to this volume (Commercial Illustration), or was among the Top 100 illustrators in our Ranking. Submissions were accepted only if the images in question had been published and produced no longer than 18 months ago. Final selection was made by an international jury whose members included Walter Lürzer, publisher and owner of Lürzer’s Archive Magazine, Michael Weinzettl, Editor in Chief of Lürzer's Archive Magazine, Olaf Hajek, illustrator and member of the Art Directors Club, Germany, Takahiro Kanie, illustrator and president of Japan Illustrator's Association, Japan, Richard Solomon, representative of illustrators, USA, and Dr. Matthew Eve, lecturer/writer on19th/20th Cent graphic design/illustration, UK. Following final selection, illustrators were free to decide whether they wanted to have images published – and how many. The names of the illustrator, agency, art director and client appear under each image. The index also lists full contact details for each illustrator. A further advantage of the book is the unique flip cover system. This enables you to select the illustrator from the index and to flip open the relevant page in the book at the same time. Each illustrator featured in the 200 Best Illustrators volume has a twelve-image web portfolio complete with full online contact details.
